  1. SCANNED PICTURES

  6. If you would like scanned images from your original photographs
  7. (reproduction quality not guaranteed) or of line art pictures
  8. (usually better than photographs) I am most happy to provide them.
  9. All I ask is this:

  11. 1.   Please send a formatted blank disk and return postage.
  12.  
  13. 2.   Make sure the pictures are copyright free, or you have the 
  14.      appropriate permission for their use.
  15.  
  16. 3.   Don't send an entire book for scanning. I have only a limited 
  17.      amount of spare time!
  18.  
  19. 4.   State whether you want the pictures in IMG or DEGAS PI3/PI2 
  20.      format.

  22. My address is under ADDRESS in the COLUMNS menu.

  24. I can scan originals up to 4 inches wide and 11 inches deep in one 
  25. go. I may able to scan wider images by splicing two strips, but 
  26. this is often not successful. Also, note that a large scan 
  27. contains a lot of data (around 1 megabyte for an A4 sized scan).
  28. All scans are done at 200 dots per inch.
